Pardeeville
Elementary PTO
"WIFM"
What
WIFM stands for? Many
people ask this question when contemplating whether or not
to join PTO. Before
we want to participate in an organization, or even something
as simple as a health club, we want to know how it will
benefit me and/or my family.
In another words…..What’s In It For Me (WIFM).
Instead
of asking you how you can help us, we want to go beyond that
by letting you know how the Parent-Teacher Organization can
benefit you and your family.
PTO's (Parent Teacher Organizations)
are usually known as fundraising groups and that's it! Well,
at Pardeeville Elementary the PTO is that and much more! Our
objectives are to:
- promote
a closer home/school
relationship, so that parents and
teachers can enhance the education and development of
the child;
- promote
a child's well-being in the home, school and community;
- provide
individual classroom materials
We
would like to invite you to become an active part of this
worthy endeavor and help Pardeeville Elementary accomplish
these objectives. The PTO meets on the second Tuesday of
every month. All parents are invited to attend and
participate in meetings. Activities are provided for your
children during the meeting in the music room.
Being
involved in your child's school is a great way to get to
know your child's friends, other families at Pardeeville
Elementary, and the community beyond those on your block! It
is also a great way for you to become better informed as to
what Pardeeville and the community at large are doing so you
can contribute your thoughts and ideas. The PTO is a way to
communicate your concerns to both the school and the
district. The well being of Pardeeville Elementary School
affects the well being of your child.
It
takes a community to raise a child and we want to be that
healthy supportive community for every single one of our
children.
So
come join us and see how you may want to participate!
Joining the PTO is easy. Annual membership dues are $3 a
family. For more information on joining the Pardeeville
